Enhances Throttle Response. Eliminate your RAM 1500’s sluggish throttle response with a SpeedForm Throttle Response Controller. All modern vehicles use a drive-by-wire system that controls the throttle body electronically, similar to a dimmer switch. While innovative, this design causes an irritating delay that is most noticeable when trying to speed up to merge with fast moving traffic or when passing a slower moving car. The SpeedForm Throttle Response Controller actually boosts this signal to eliminate the delay for quicker, snappier throttle response, making it a must have for all drive-by-wire vehicles.
Five Modes. The SpeedForm Throttle Response Controller comes with 5 preset control modes for Stock, Eco, Comfort/Sport, Sport and Race applications. Each mode can further be adjusted with 9 levels of sensitivity. This allows you to select the mode that works the best for your own personal driving style and needs.
- Stock – Acceleration is set to factory defaults. Display is NO.
- ECO – Designed for fuel economy. Display is EC.
- Comfort/Sport – Balances performance and fuel economy. Display is P1.
- Sport – Improves engine response for better performance during daily commuting. Display is P2.
- Race – Maximum performance with immediate throttle response. Display is P3.
Easy Plug & Play Installation. The SpeedForm Throttle Response Controller connects directly into the stock throttle position sensor found on the drive-by-wire gas pedal using an OEM style plug and play connector with no permanent modifications required. The Throttle Response Controller is 100% reversible and will not leave residual codes on the factory PCM making it warranty friendly.
Application. This SpeedForm Throttle Response Controller is designed for use on all 2009-2018 RAM 1500 models.
