Rear Wheel Strap Upgrade. The SeaSucker Rear Wheel Housing and Ladder Strap provides a stronger and more secure solution for holding down bicycle wheels during transport. This upgrade replaces the standard VELCRO® strap with a ladder strap and buckle, offering increased stability and ease of use. Ideal for use with SeaSucker rack systems, it ensures your bike’s rear wheel remains firmly fastened for dependable transport.

Construction and Appearance. The upgrade features a robust 25-inch aluminum front wheel mount connected to a half-inch thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE) body known for its strength and durability. The components are designed to withstand outdoor use and provide a professional, functional look suitable for roof, trunk, or hatchback attachments.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and involves removing the existing rear wheel housing by unscrewing four corner screws, then attaching the new housing and ladder strap using the original screws. No drilling or permanent modifications are required, making it an easy upgrade for users.

Application. This product is universally compatible with a wide range of wheel types and sizes up to 29 inches, including standard road, cross, and MTB bikes. It requires specific plugs for certain through-axles and does not support boost hubs (15x110mm).
