With 6 inches of lift, this kit can accommodate tires up to 35×12.50 in size. This Rough Country Kit features cast steering knuckles as well as lift blocks, strut spacers, front differential skid plate and front/rear crossmembers. What’s more, the included Premium N3 Shock absorbers will provide a highly comfortable ride, even when tested across rough terrain.
Premium N3 Shocks. The included 10-stage variable valving, Premium N3 Shock Absorbers are built with a 54 mm body and a high-pressure nitrogen charge to ensure efficient heat dissipation that keeps the shock cooler while reducing fade during aggressive off-road use. Moreover, it is furnished with a durable, 18 mm spring-loaded piston rod and reinforced seals for a long lifespan of smooth performance.
Cast Steel Steering Knuckles. Rough Country includes a set of heavy duty, extended length steering knuckles in their 6-inch Suspension Lift Kit. These steering knuckles are cast from iron steel for superior strength. The knuckles retain a stock track width that keeps your tires under the fenders for a clean appearance.
Lift Blocks and Strut Spacers. Front lift is obtained by relocating the factory struts with heavy duty, fabricated spacers to raise the vehicle while retaining the stock ride quality. This positions the struts properly to provide 6 inches of lift without coil bind or over extending the travel that can lead to damaged suspension parts in the future. Rear lift is accomplished by installing the fabricated lift blocks and u-bolts. The included u bolts and fasteners allow for a straight forward installation.
Skid Plate and Crossmembers. Both the front differential skid plate and front/rear crossmembers are constructed from steel plate for superior strength. The skid plate will protect the front differential from rocks and obstacles, while the crossmembers will provide additional strength to the suspension. The high clearance crossmember design will optimize suspension geometry.
Professional Installation. For your convenience, this kit’s suspension components are mostly designed to bolt onto your truck’s factory location points. However, some cutting and drilling are required to ensure perfect fitment of each component. Furthermore, the installation requires moderate to high level of mechanical skills since it deals with some difficult steps.
