Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 308 MIG welded stainless steel and high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless tubing, this catalytic converter offers exceptional corrosion resistance. It features a clam-shell body type with a stainless finish and an aluminized steel heat shield for added durability and thermal efficiency. The unit is comprised of a ceramic substrate optimized for efficient catalyst reaction.
Installation. Installation requires welding and is best suited for professional mechanics due to the need for precise placement and secure mounting. Clamps, hangers, gaskets, or mounting hardware are not included and may be necessary depending on the vehicle application.
