The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter, HM Grade, 2.25-Inch, is designed to effectively reduce harmful vehicle emissions and maintain compliance with Federal EPA standards. This catalytic converter fits a wide range of vehicles as a universal emission control component to help keep the check engine light off.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds and 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, this catalytic converter features a clam-shell stainless steel body finish for superior corrosion resistance and longevity. It incorporates a single laser fusion weld to reduce leaks, a ceramic substrate for efficient catalysis, and an aluminized steel heat shield for optimal thermal management.
Installation. Welding is required for installation, as clamps and mounting hardware are not included. Its compact and lightweight design allows installation in confined spaces. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper sealing and functionality.
Warranty. This catalytic converter includes both construction and emissions warranties to guarantee durability and compliance with EPA performance standards.
Application. This product is a universal fit and does not specifically fit the 2007 5.7L RAM 2500. It is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York.
