Improve Exhaust Tone. These high-flow Kooks Shorty Headers were designed to improve the efficiency of your engine’s outflow, letting exhaust exit at a higher rate. With this less restrictive header style you’ll hear an improvement in both the tone and volume of your exhaust.
Quality Construction. These Kooks Shorty Headers are constructed from free flowing, CNC mandrel-bent, 1-5/8-inch 304 stainless steel primary tubes that merge into a 2-1/2-inch collector. The 3/8-inch thick, one piece flanges and factory style collector connections ensure a direct, leak free fit. Kooks Headers are left in their natural finish for classic good looks.
Not CARB Certified. These Kooks Shorty Headers are not CARB certified, therefore they are not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; not intended for highway use.
Application. These Kooks 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers without EGR Fitting are specifically designed to fit the 2003-2013 GMC Sierra 1500 models equipped with a V8 engine. Please note that these headers do not have an EGR fitting.
