The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Front Piggyback Shocks for 6 to 8-Inch Lift are engineered to enhance vehicle control and ride quality on both rough terrain and smooth pavement. These shocks provide tailored damping to your suspension setup, improving off-road capability while maintaining stability and comfort. They play a crucial role in controlling suspension travel and minimizing harsh bottom-out impacts.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum with CNC machining, these shocks feature a corrosion-resistant one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinder and a chrome-plated, induction-hardened 7/8″ shaft. The black finish is durable and consistent. PTFE-lined spherical bearings and premium-grade 5WT shock oil ensure reliable, smooth operation across a broad temperature range.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with included application-specific mounting hardware. This design allows for a direct bolt-on replacement for compatible vehicles with no drilling required.
