The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Extended Travel V.S. 2.5 Series Front Piggyback Shocks with CDCV for 6 to 8-Inch Lift deliver exceptional off-road capability and refined on-road comfort. CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Crafted from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum CNC machined components and precision machined 1026 DOM steel with CAD plating, these shocks feature a nitrogen-charged monotube design and piggyback reservoir for improved heat dissipation. They include a 7/8-inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft with PTFE lined spherical bearings for durability and smooth operation, and feature a professional black finish that balances form and function.
INSTALLATION. Installation requires aftermarket upper control arms with high-angle ball joints. The process is generally straightforward with no drilling typically necessary, allowing for a direct bolt-on fitment when paired with the appropriate suspension modifications.
