Construction. These Flowtech 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers are made from 16-gauge tubing for amazing strength. There’s an OE-style, 2.50-inch slip-fit collector connects to factory exhaust pipe, while the TIG-welded, machined, 3/8-inch header flange gives you a leak-free seal. Aluminum header gaskets are included and have a black painted finish.
Installation. Putting these on your truck can be tricky. You’ll have to cut the factory catalytic converters off the factory manifold. Welding is required to attach the catalytic converters to the headers.
