Custom Tow Bar Base Plate. The Custom Tow Bar Base Plate provides a solid and secure attachment point for dinghy towing your vehicle using tow bars. Designed to bolt directly to the vehicle frame, it ensures a safe and reliable towing experience by spreading forces evenly and minimizing stress on the frame.
Construction and Appearance. Made from carbon steel with precise welding for superior strength and fit, this base plate features a concealed design that maintains an OEM appearance on the vehicle. It is finished with a high-gloss black powder coat and co-cured with a rust-resistant liquid A-coat inside and out for long-lasting durability.
Installation. Professional installation is recommended. No drilling is required thanks to the twist-lock tabs, which allow for easy installation and removal as needed.
Warranty. The base plate is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, including one year coverage on finish and parts.
Application. Engineered specifically to fit 2016-2018 Sierra 1500 models, this product ensures a precise vehicle-specific fit. It is not compatible with universal tow bars.
