The APR Performance Version 1 Aero Kit represents a comprehensive aerodynamic solution engineered specifically for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray platform. This complete aerodynamic package addresses the high-speed handling characteristics of the 2014-2019 Corvette Stingray, combining multiple aerodynamic components into a single integrated system. APR Performance designed this kit to improve stability and downforce generation during both track sessions and spirited street driving, targeting the aerodynamic deficiencies inherent in the stock C7 Stingray configuration.
The Version 1 Aero Kit incorporates three primary aerodynamic components that work together to optimize airflow management around the Corvette’s body. The front air dam extends the factory front splitter design to redirect airflow beneath the vehicle and reduce lift at the front axle. Side rocker extensions channel air along the vehicle’s flanks while creating additional downforce through ground effect principles. The rear deck spoiler modifies the airflow separation point at the rear of the vehicle, reducing drag while generating rear downforce to balance the front aerodynamic load.
Each component in this aerodynamic package serves a specific function in the overall airflow management strategy. The front air dam works in conjunction with the factory undertray to accelerate airflow beneath the vehicle. The side rocker extensions seal the gaps between the front and rear aerodynamic elements while adding visual continuity to the aerodynamic package. The rear deck spoiler provides the final aerodynamic element, controlling airflow separation to optimize the pressure differential above and below the rear deck surface.
