The APR Performance S2-GT Widebody Aerodynamic Kit transforms the Honda S2000 into a grand touring racecar-inspired street machine through comprehensive body modifications. This complete aerodynamic package addresses the S2000’s need for increased tire contact patch and enhanced aerodynamic downforce by widening the front fenders +45mm and rear fenders +50mm. The engineering approach brings track-proven aerodynamics to street applications while maintaining the S2000’s balanced handling characteristics.
The widebody design enables massive tire fitments that dramatically improve traction and handling performance. Front wheel sizes expand to 0″x9″ with 265/35/18 profile tires, while rear wheels accommodate 0″x10″ sizing with 285/30/18 profile tires. This increased contact patch provides substantially more grip for both acceleration and cornering compared to stock configurations.
The kit is constructed from carbon fiber components where aerodynamic efficiency matters most. The carbon fiber wind splitter functions as both a front undertray and downforce-generating element, engineered to enhance front-end stability at speed while reducing lift.
The complete package includes six primary components that transform the S2000’s body architecture. The widebody front bumper integrates with widebody front fenders to create the +45mm width increase. Widebody side skirts connect the front and rear sections, while the widebody rear fenders and gas door provide the +50mm rear expansion. The widebody rear bumper completes the transformation and integrates with the optional 0″ GTC-300 S2000 Spec adjustable rear wing for maximum rear downforce. The carbon fiber wind splitter/undertray enhances front-end aerodynamics and stability.
