The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards provide convenient access to your vehicle by automatically deploying when the door opens and retracting when it closes, enhancing both functionality and vehicle aesthetics. These running boards make it easier and safer to enter and exit high vehicles, improving comfort for all passengers.
Construction and Appearance. Made from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum, these running boards are coated with a military-grade black PTFE finish that offers excellent protection against oxidation and abrasion. The textured, slip-resistant step surface ensures secure footing, while the integrated low-profile LED courtesy lights illuminate each step for improved visibility and safety in low-light conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and uses a vehicle-specific mounting kit along with a plug-n-play OBDII module for newer vehicles, requiring no drilling in most cases. Although the process is simple, professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and function.
Warranty. This product is backed by a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
