The AFE Large Bore-HD 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Exhaust System with Polished Tip; Side Exit improves exhaust flow and performance for diesel trucks by reducing backpressure and lowering exhaust gas temperatures. This system enhances horsepower and torque output while ensuring reliable operation under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 5-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing, this exhaust system offers durability and corrosion resistance. Smooth transition bends promote laminar flow, and the system is completed with a polished 304 stainless steel slash-cut tip featuring an integrated drain port to resist rust and corrosion.
Installation. Installation is straightforward using existing factory mounting points and OE-style bayonet hangers, requiring no drilling or modifications. This set-up offers a secure, leak-free fitment that remains stable under high vibration and heat.
Application. Designed for 2011-2016 6.6L Duramax Sierra 2500 HD diesel trucks, this exhaust system does not fit 2016 3500HD models equipped with NOX sensors.
