The AFE Large Bore-HD 4-Inch DPF-Back Dual Exhaust System with Polished Tips; Side Exit is engineered to improve exhaust flow by replacing the factory exhaust from the DPF back. It enhances horsepower and torque while reducing exhaust gas temperatures, thus boosting engine performance and durability. This system delivers an aggressive dual exhaust tone and increased efficiency for diesel trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax engine.
Construction and Appearance. Built from mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing, the system provides durability and smooth exhaust flow with minimal turbulence. It features OE-style bayonet hangers for a reliable fit and vibration resistance. The polished 304 stainless steel exhaust tip includes a drain port to prevent rust and corrosion, combining style with long-lasting protection.
Installation. Installation is straightforward using all factory mounting points with no modifications or drilling required. A bolt-on bracket supports the driver side tailpipe to ensure added stability and a secure fit.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2011-2016 6.6L Duramax Sierra 2500 HD models. This exhaust system is not compatible with 2016 3500HD models equipped with NOX sensors.
