Premium Diesel Exhaust. The AFE ATLAS 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Exhaust System with Side Exit is engineered to enhance diesel truck performance by optimizing exhaust flow while maintaining OEM fitment. It replaces the factory exhaust components downstream of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and is designed to improve horsepower, torque, and reduce exhaust gas temperatures for optimal engine efficiency.
Construction and Appearance. Built from 5-inch mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing, this exhaust system features smooth transition bends to minimize turbulence. High-quality OE-style bayonet hangers and flange clamps assure a secure, professional fit that preserves factory mounting points for a clean and durable finish.
Installation. Installation is straightforward using existing factory mounting locations, with no modifications or drilling required. The system provides a leak-free seal for dependable and long-lasting performance.
Application. This exhaust system fits 2011 through 2016 6.6L Duramax Sierra and Silverado 2500 HD diesel trucks. It is not compatible with 2016 3500HD models equipped with the NOX sensor.
