Extreme Heat Spark Plug Wires. The Accel Extreme 9000 Spark Plug Wire Set is designed to deliver superior ignition performance in demanding environments. It is engineered for GM Gen 4 LS engines including LS3, LS4, and LS7, providing reliable spark delivery even under high heat conditions. These wires prevent boot melting and ensure consistent engine operation, especially useful in tight engine bays or with headers close to spark plugs.
Construction and Appearance. These wires feature an 8mm double silicone jacket rated to 600 degrees Fahrenheit for durability and flexibility. The ceramic boots offer extreme heat resistance up to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, protecting critical connection points. The ferro-spiral core provides 500 ohms per foot resistance for an optimal balance between spark energy and electromagnetic interference suppression. Wires come with stainless steel terminals for enhanced conductivity and reliability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no special tools or drilling required, fitting directly onto corresponding spark plugs and ignition terminals. The 135-degree angled boots facilitate easy connection in tight areas of the LS engine bays.
