Heavy-Duty Hitch Ball. The 2-Inch Trailer Hitch Ball, rated for up to 12,000 lbs. GTW, is designed for towing a variety of trailers such as utility, boat, camper, and livestock trailers. It provides a secure connection by fitting 2″ couplers and delivering reliable towing capacity for pickups and SUVs.
Construction and Appearance. Made from high-strength, hot-forged steel and heat-treated for improved wear resistance, this trailer hitch ball features a chrome-plated finish that offers protection against rust and scratches. The mounting is secured with zinc-plated hex nuts and helical lock washers, while fine threads ensure strong holding power and smooth installation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling if the mounting platform is at least 3/8″ thick and the hole diameter is no more than 1/16″ larger than the threaded shank. The fine-threaded design facilitates easy torqueing and a secure fit.
Warranty. This product includes a limited lifetime warranty with coverage for the finish and parts for one year.
Application. Fits 2″ couplers and requires a mounting platform that is a minimum of 3/8″ thick with a hole size no larger than 1/16″ greater in diameter than the threaded shank.
